About Dracut Pop Warner Middies
Dracut Pop Warner Middies
Dracut Pop Warner Middies is a community-based youth football and cheerleading organization serving the children of Dracut, Massachusetts and surrounding areas. Established in 1972, the Middies program has grown into one of the area’s most respected youth sports organizations, offering the opportunity for boys and girls ages 5–14 to learn, compete, and grow through football and cheer.
As part of the Pop Warner Little Scholars network — the largest and oldest youth football and cheer organization in the country — we focus not only on athletic skill, but on character development, teamwork, and academic commitment. Pop Warner, founded in 1929, has a long tradition of encouraging young athletes to excel both on the field and in the classroom, and requires participants to uphold academic standards to participate.
OUR MISSION
Dracut Pop Warner Middies strives to provide a safe, structured, and fun environment where children can:
Learn the fundamentals of football, cheer, and team competition
Build friendships and lifelong memories
Develop strength, discipline, sportsmanship, and confidence
Understand the importance of mental and physical fitness
Grow academically and socially
We uphold the Pop Warner philosophy that athletics and scholastics go hand-in-hand, and we seek to mold young athletes into responsible, respectful, and resilient individuals both on and off the field.
